Basic Custom Website - 4-6 static pages, 5-7 stock images, one form field section or equivalent technology request. From: $1200

Larger Custom Website – 8-12 static pages, a dozen stock photos, basic Flash style or movie integration.  From: $2500

Dynamic/CMS Custom Website - A dynamic website with a content management system using an open source technology like Joomla, Drupal, Mambo or WordPress is a great solution for those who need to make frequent updates and/or changes to their  website. A basic CMS site would start around $2800.

Basic E-commerce Website - My basic e-commerce solution is a professional integrated PayPal solution.  By using the PayPal system it reduces your monthly hosting, gateway and other costs.  This solution is for someone with a small inventory of products and modest monthly revenue.   This solution will give you the ability to update your product descriptions and pricing, manage your sales, shipping and much more.  A basic professional e-commerce site starts around $3700 and is typically coded in PHP.

Custom Database Driven Website -  Database driven websites are often used to generate content from a user driven need…for example, a user goes to a sculptors website to look at their portfolio, when the user clicks on a piece they like, the site generates information for the user such as size, price, materials, etc.  Another example might be some sort of inventory, i.e. a steel supply site might have 100s of different types and sizes to offer.  The user selects a material style and the database generates the corresponding content, e.g. sizes, prices, etc.  A custom database driven site using MySQL might start around $4200

Fully Integrated Custom E-commerce Website - A fully integrated e-commerce solution would come with a custom shopping cart, complete product management, shipping management, built-in newsletter, ability to manage various prices and coupons, gift certificates, business intelligent reports, order processing admin, product batching, integrated gateway to your merchant account, etc. This e-commerce solution is for those who need to do a significant amount of business online and need to do it right!  A fully integrated e-commerce solution would start around $9500

Strategy/Hourly Rates - If you’re looking for in-depth analysis and consultation on your website and/or project, my hourly rate is $95.  All web design and development project-work, or out-of-scope work is billed at $65 per hour.

Basic Website Optimization – This service will make sure that when someone searches for you/your company online, that you’ll come up in the search.  I will optimize up to 8 pages with custom header, description and keyword metatags, create an XML sitemap and submit to all major search engines for indexing.  From $375 (one-time fee)

SEO/SEM (Search engine optimization & marketing) - There are literally hundreds of things that one could do to a website to increase its visibility online, therefore SEO becomes a budgetary issue…meaning that depending upon your budget & goals, I will customize an SEO plan just for you. There is a direct coloration with the results you want to achieve with the time that it takes to integrate. Additionally, to be successful with SEO, it requires a monthly commitment-think of it as an on-going marketing investment. To achieve optimal results, a minimum of six months is required.  Due to the ever-changing search engine algorithms, in order to maintain traffic to your site and top results in the various search engines, an ongoing monthly program beyond the six month commitment is highly recommended. Think of it like working out your body…it would take a number of months to lose 20-30lbs, and a much shorter time to gain it back if you stopped the workouts. Monthly fee from $800 to $7500. PPC (Pay Per Click Advertising) - Similar to SEO, PPC  requires a lot of on-going work, the main difference between the two is that PPC can generate traffic nearly immediately, where SEO will take a number of months to see traction.  Additionally, the cost is more significant with PPC.  If you can only afford to do one or the other, I recommend SEO as 70% off all clicks will come from organic searches vs. paid ones. However, that does not diminish the effectiveness of PPC advertising as there is a direct correlation between how much you invest and what you get out.  For example, I have a client who spends over $30k per month in PPC ads that generate over $100k in revenue.  Note:  In order to maximize your PPC campaign, it’s very helpful to couple it with an SEO campaign because relevancy is hugely important in driving traffic.  The cost of a PPC campaign will depend on site size, category competitiveness, target network(s), etc.  Minimum required monthly budget would be $750, which would include $250 for media costs.

FLASH Banners & Movies - If you want to convey a message on your website using very little real estate, a Flash banner/movie is a great option.  A Flash banner can be formatted for use on your own website or on a publisher’s website as an advertisement.  A Flash banner and/or movie can be integrated with various messages, actions, motions, sounds, etc.  Cost would start around $500.

What are Assets? - If you’re building a website from the ground up…meaning your first site, you might require a variety of creative assets, i.e. images, video, sounds, music, etc. I can provide all the necessary services to accommodate your needs.

Photography - Stock Photo search/purchase runs around $45 each.  A good amateur photography session would run about $60 per hour; a high-end professional photographer would run $125 per hour.
